Pete Sepe Memorial Scholarship Fund

This scholarship is presented in memory of Peter Sepe, an active supporter of youth activities throughout the area both interscholastic and recreational. He had served the Town of Warren as chairman of the Recreation Board from 1979 to 2002. Mr. Sepe
was a founder of the Warren Athletic Hall of Fame, where he had been serving as treasurer since its inception in 1998. On Nov. 16, 2002, Mr. Sepe was presented with the Rhode Island Foundation's Alan Shawn Feinstein Award, and the Warren Recreation Park Pavilion was named in his honor.
A two hundred fifty dollar ($250) scholarship will be awarded to two Warren residents; one to a female student and one to a male student. Award recipients will be acknowledged at the annual banquet of the Warren Athletic Hall of Fame.
 STUDENT ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS: Students who apply should meet the following criteria: 1. High school
senior that is planning to attend an accredited institution of higher learning 2. Warren resident. 3. Senior member of High School athletic team. 4. Displayed sportsmanship on the field and leadership qualities to his/her teammates both on and off the field.
