Pete Sepe Memorial Scholarship Fund

This scholarship is presented in memory of Peter Sepe, an active supporter of youth activities, both interscholastic and recreational, throughout the area.   He had served the Town of Warren as chairman of the Recreation Board from 1979 to 2002.  Mr. Sepe was a founder of the Warren Athletic Hall of Fame, where he had been serving as treasurer since its inception in 1998. On Nov. 16, 2002, Mr. Sepe was presented with the Rhode Island Foundation's Alan Shawn Feinstein Award, and the Warren Recreation Park Pavilion was named in his honor.

A three hundred dollar ($300) scholarship will be awarded to two Warren residents; two most deserving applicants will be chosen from applications submitted. Award recipients will be acknowledged at the annual banquet of the Warren Athletic Hall of Fame on Saturday April 22, 2017.
