.                   Warren High School's Most Athletic Seniors

The Warren High School Senior Class of 1931 published the school’s first yearbook.  From then until 1993, when the school merged with Bristol High School to create Mt. Hope High School, each year’s senior class, with some exceptions, named one boy and one girl as the Most Athletic in their class.

     The exceptions included the following:

• During the Depression, no yearbook was published from 1933 to 1937.

• The Class of 1939 did not name any “superlatives.”

• From 1962 to 1970, the senior class named a 15-20 person Hall of Fame, but did not single out anyone as Most Athletic.

• In 1971, 1973, and 1975, the senior class named as many as seventeen boys and girls as Most Athletic.

• Sometimes a class would name a boy, but not a girl, as Most Athletic.

In the years specifically noted above, we have included, if applicable, the boy nominated as the Journal-Bulletin’s Honor Roll Boy.  (The Journal-Bulletin did not name Honor Roll Girls until 1977.)
