Warren Athletic Hall of Fame To Induct Thirteen Individual Members/One Team

 

 The Warren Athletic Hall of Fame committee today announced the rest of its tenth annual class of

 inductees.  Thirteen  individuals, along with the previously announced 1946 Warren High School state

 championship baseball team, will be honored at the Hall of Fame’s banquet to be held on Saturday, March

 1, 2008 at Swansea’s Venus de Milo Restaurant.  Athletes Karen Cabral Booth, Russ (Flash) Greenwood,

 Jodi Kopecky, Scott Laroche, Nick Montagano, Lauren Pelchat,  Maureen Shoren, and Andy Vollaro will

 be joined by coach Nick Massa, contributor Ed Abrain, old timers Ernest (Babe)  Asselin and Walter (Zip)

 Urban, and Phyllis Abbruzzi Award honoree Joe Coccia.  Asselin, Greenwood, Montagano, and Urban

 will be inducted posthumously.
