Scott M. Mansi (Athlete, Class of 2006)
Ranked in 1982 as the number one male duckpin bowler in Rhode Island (with a 146 average), Scott Mansi has been one of Warren’s leading bowlers for more than three decades.
At Dudek’s Lanes he set the house record of 510 in 1974 and competing in the Lanes’ top league, compiled the highest average at least twenty-seven (27) times between 1974 and 2003.
After being ranked as the number three Rhode Island male in 1980 (and then, as noted above, the number one male in 1982), Scott set the New England record of 610, the second highest three-string duckpin total in history, in 1983. And in 1988 he achieved national honorable mention honors, when he would have ranked 13th in the nation if he bowled enough qualifying games.
