Lauren Pelchat was a member of the Ann Chandler Morris-coached Warren High girls track teams that captured back-to-back-to-back State Championships in 1973, 1974, and 1975.

In her junior season she earned All Northeast Division honors in the shot put, while also being named All State in the discus.  And in her senior year she doubled up, being named All State in both the shot put and the discus.
