JENNIFER “JEN” HICKS PERROTTI (Athlete, Class of 2001)

Jen Hicks is Warren High School’s all-time leading scorer in girls basketball and was twice named All State in volleyball.

Jen finished her high school basketball career with eight hundred and twenty points.  She was named All Class C twice and also received Class C honors in her senior year of 1990 even though she missed eleven games due to a severe ankle sprain.  The Redskins won the Class C Tournament Championship in 1988 and captured the Class C North regular season title in 1990.

In volleyball she played on three championship teams, the Class B East winners of 1987, the 1988 Class B East and Class B Champions, and the 1990 Class B Two Champions.  Jen was named All Class B East and All State in both 1989 and 1990.

At the Ocean State Games she was a member of the 1989 volleyball team that won a Silver Medal.

Jen then matriculated at Pennsylvania’s Muhlenberg College, where an entire team was recruited to start a new program.  From 1990 to 1993 they achieved a record of seventy-four wins and thirty losses, and in the last three of those years won sixty-seven times.  In 1992 they won twenty-seven matches, the most ever won by any Muhlenberg athletic team and shut out twenty of their opponents.

While at Muhlenberg she was named the Centennial Conference Player of the Year.  She played on the Wesleyan Invitational titlists, the 1992 Middle Atlantic Conference Southeast Champions, and the Cedar Crest Invitational Champions.
